Around the world many are struggling to make ends meet and our wish this holiday season is to give more children and families opportunities to grow and eat healthy, nourishing food. We were inspired by World Education's Learning Farm program and the power and possibility it provides for street children, like Dedi Sudhandi, in Indonesia through practical organic farming and life skills and training in entrepreneurship. The Learning Farm also speaks to our values as a family—working together to grow and eat healthy food. We think it's important to teach our kids about giving back, particularly to organizations like World Education that support local, sustainable solutions like the Learning Farm.
