As director of strategic initiatives for the EdTech Center @ World Education, Alison Ascher Webber develops and directs projects that advance digital equity and use technology to increase the reach and benefits of education, workforce, and humanitarian projects. Since joining World Education in 2017, she has advised digital learning and ICT4D initiatives for the National Immigration Forum, UNESCO, the Employment Technology Fund, and California Labor Federation. Alison was the first executive director of the Leadership Training & Education Fund for janitors across California and helped form the award-winning Building Skills Partnership. She has an MA in education from U.C. Berkeley and a BA in cultural anthropology from Williams College.
