Kathleen O’Connell joined World Education in 2016, after teaching in and coordinating workplace education projects in Massachusetts for over 25 years. From 2016 to 2020, she managed World Education’s English for Seaport Team Members project. She coordinates World Education’s English Now! blended learning circles demonstration project, building partner site engagement, gathering data and qualitative information, and presenting the model nationally. Kathleen also contributes to the development of the NCTN Personal and Workplace Success Skills Library by drafting resource descriptions and developing library-use case studies with partner programs. Kathleen has a BS in geology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and was a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic.
