SBCC School of Extended Learning is part of Santa Barbara City College, based in Santa Barbara, California. Its mission is to create a gateway to opportunities for lifelong learning and remove barriers to participation in education, while fostering an equitable learning community that embraces, promotes, and supports diversity and inclusion.

This case study features SBCC School of Extended Learning's remote ESOL program design during COVID and student onboarding and persistence supports.
