Moodle Mobile App Launches in Khmer
November 15th, 2019 | News
We are thrilled to share an important milestone achieved under the BEEP project: the Moodle Mobile app is now available in Khmer!
With the Moodle Mobile app available in Khmer, Cambodian speakers around the world are able to better access learning content on the platform. The Moodle Mobile app is an essential addition to access to e-learning for the Khmer speakers as it allows for accessing courses on a device even when not connected to the internet.
Under the BEEP project, out of school youth in Cambodia can earn 9th grade equivalency by completing online courses and now will be able to access learning content anytime, anywhere.
World Education’s EdTech Center worked in partnership with Moodle, UNESCO, and the Ministry of Education, Youth & Sport to complete the work through a very collaborative process, building the capacity of local education providers and catalyzing the creation of a robust Moodle learning community in Cambodia.
This is a huge milestone for the project and one that elevates BEEP project’s impact globally.
World Education strives to build lasting relationships with partners across diverse geographic regions and technical sectors to produce better education outcomes for all.
