Saint Lucia ConnectED Activity Event

On September 24, World Education and the Saint Lucia Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science, Technology and Vocational Training will announce the start of the USAID-funded Saint Lucia ConnectED Activity at an event hosted by Sir Arthur Lewis Community College in Castries, Saint Lucia.
The Saint Lucia ConnectED Activity, leveraging the expertise of the EdTech Center @ World Education, is designed to build resilience and improve the quality of teaching and learning by equipping youth and educators as digital literacy leaders in their communities. Grounded in the philosophy of positive youth development, ConnectED will amplify and strengthen youth’s abilities to learn and practice leadership and life skills through digital education opportunities.
The event will include remarks from key project stakeholders including Minister Hon. Shawn Edwards; Permanent Secretary Michelle Charles of the Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science, Technology, and Vocational Training; Ambassador to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States Linda S. Taglialatela; President of the Saint Lucia National Youth Council Ajani LeBourne; and representatives from World Education and implementing partners Sir Arthur Lewis Community College and Tuskegee University.
