World Education Launches EdTech Impact Advisory Group Comprised of Experts from Around the Globe

We are excited to announce the launch of the EdTech Impact Advisory Group, dedicated to promoting and supporting World Education’s vision of advancing digital equity in today’s increasingly tech-enabled world. The Impact Advisory Group will support World Education and its award-winning EdTech Center to expand its networks, launch new pilot projects, and benefit from thought partnerships from those outside of the organization who bring a fresh perspective and new ideas. The Advisory Group will be convened and coordinated by the EdTech Center @ World Education’s leadership in close collaboration with all World Education divisions – US, Africa, Asia, and Bantwana.
The Impact Advisors are a diverse and talented group from different parts of the world, representing a wide array of focus areas, all with a deep commitment to digital equity.
Tetyana (Keller) Astashkina is a General Partner at LearnLaunch Fund + Accelerator, a Boston-based venture fund and accelerator that invests in and supports companies driving access, equity, and outcomes in K12, higher education, workforce development, and life-long upskilling.
Liam Pisano is a Managing Partner at Edulab Capital Partners, a Boston and Tokyo based seed-stage venture capital firm focused on learning and workforce technologies, investing in business models that transcend the traditional education landscape.
Danai Nhando is a Human Rights Lawyer and Founding Country Director at Change.org in South Africa, where she is supporting some of the biggest people-powered digital campaigns in the country to address homelessness, equitable education, refugee rights, health equity rights and Gender Based Violence.
Alessandro Di Lullo is Co-Founder of SuperCharger Ventures, a leading edtech accelerator with offices in London, Singapore and Hong Kong that helps startups scale, expand internationally and access capital to change the way education works.
Jing Zhao is an entrepreneur, edtech investor and cofounder of a STEAM-based chain of preschools in Boston and China that are transforming the STEAM space for young children.
Shaun Dubash is the Chief Product Officer and founding member of Emeritus, a company that is building the largest reskilling platform to allow people from across the world to reskill for the jobs of the future.
Joel Lamstein is the co-founder and former CEO of John Snow Inc., and former President of World Education where for 43 years he led more than 4,100 staff in 45 countries, implementing more than 350 projects that strengthened health and educational systems, built community skills and support, and addressed people’s health care and literacy needs.
