Around the world, millions of people still face barriers to education. Factors such as gender inequality, inaccessible schools, inadequate teaching and learning materials, and lack of community buy-in prevent many from receiving a high quality, consistent, contextualized education. Sustainable approaches to strengthening education systems are crucial for ensuring a lasting impact that allows everyone who wishes to get an education to build foundational skills.
World Education staff will be attending the Comparative International Education Society (CIES) 2023 conference in Washington, D.C. February 18th through the 22nd to collaborate with other education professionals on how we can best work together to increase equitable access to education.
Looking ahead to February, we’re sharing some resources on our work removing barriers to education and strengthening education systems that we’re excited to share at CIES.
