Bernard Franck oversees nine projects to enhance disability-inclusive development through government systems strengthening. He also provides direct assistance to persons with disabilities and their families through the Community-Based Inclusive Development model. Bernard worked for more than 20 years with Humanity & Inclusion (former Handicap International) on disability inclusion and victim assistance program coordination, project management and advisory roles with local partners and national authorities in conflict, and post-conflict and development contexts in Africa, South Asia, and South East Asia. From 2014 to 2017, he was technical director of the TEAM project. He has a BA in specialized education and two MSs; one in physical education and sport sciences, another in physiotherapy and rehabilitation from the Faculty of Motor Sciences Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium.
