From 2003 to 2021, Donna Koolmees was a trainer, mentor, and researcher in Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. She also spent eight years as a clinician and service manager for occupational therapy services in the UK. Donna conducts technical webinars on disability assessment, most recently for partners in Myanmar and the Philippines. She has a BSc in occupational therapy from Salford University; an MRes in health research and disability studies from Lancaster University; and an MSc in global health from Manchester University, all in the UK. She also has a PGC on disability in the community, CBR, and international development from Queens University, Ontario in Canada.
