Instruction and PD Specialist

Karen Greaves is the instruction and professional development specialist for the SABES ELA Curriculum and Instruction PD Center. She has years of experience as a K–12 English Language Arts and adult education teacher at Boston Public Schools, where she more recently was the Department of Adult Education program manager. Karen's experience includes coaching and contextualized instruction in financial literacy and college and career planning. She has an M.Ed in secondary education from the University of Massachusetts, and holds MA licenses in English 9–12, English as a second language, and sheltered English immersion, and certification for students with moderate disabilities.
