How Do You Teach Content in Adult Education? An Annotated Bibliography

Find Another Resource

This document identifies existing sources that review research and professional wisdom on these content areas. This is not an exhaustive list but it does provide sources that are useful to the design of evidence-based instruction. This annotated bibliography is divided into seven subsections that focus on reading, writing, math and numeracy, English as a second language, GED, adult learning theory, and technology, along with a section on further reading. Each section presents adult education sources and then additional resources based on K–12 research, instruction, and professional development resources. World Education, 2006.
