Learn to Read – Overview of the Aprender a Ler Project

This brochure highlights the early grade reading approach of the USAID-funded Aprender a Ler (Learn to Read) project. The pamphlet provides and overview of the program, highlights lessons learned and best practices and provides some of the programs successes in improving oral reading fluency among third grade students, and the scaled-up of the initiative, which is now reaching almost 5,000 teachers and 1,100 school directors and more than 1210 schools in 14 districts.
