Mbwelina goes to the market – Mwebelina no mercado

This book is part of the USAID Vamos Ler and SABER programs implemented in Mozambique. Supplementary readers have been developed in three local languages (Echuwabo, Elomwe and Emakhuwa) and in Portuguese.

Teachers use the books to read out to their students, building listening comprehension, critical thinking skills and to teach new vocabulary. When students are fluent enough, they can also read the books themselves.
