This paper assesses the current institutional practices and capacity for the Jordanian education sector in performing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) functions and activities. It also proposes a new framework for developing a fully inclusive, integrated, and comprehensive results-based monitoring and evaluation system that consists of internal and external components. It also recommends a governance mechanism that will support effective planning and disposition of all management, administrative, and technical elements of the M&E functions in Jordan.
