World Education has worked in Côte d’Ivoire since 2012, starting with the Empowering Cocoa Households with Opportunities and Education Solutions project, an integrated literacy and livelihoods and community development project in cocoa growing communities. Since then, we have supported an increasing number of important projects that focus primarily on improving education for children and empowering women and girls.
We are a respected leader in building the skills, talents, and resources of community groups—especially school management committees and women’s groups—so they can accomplish their missions and further their children’s education.
Founded in 1951, World Education has worked in over 50 countries around the world to improve the well-being of vulnerable individuals, families, and communities through education initiatives that are also linked to local social, economic, health, and civic priorities.
