Webinar: What Works? Promising Approaches for Delivering Mental Health and Psychosocial Support services to Vulnerable Children and Families in Community-based Settings

The importance of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for the health and wellbeing of vulnerable children and families has gained considerable traction in the last year. The COVID-19 pandemic, along with deepening economic and climate change challenges, has contributed to the growing need and demand. Across multiple limited resource contexts, community-based models are emerging that have potential for adaptation and scale.

As a member of the OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children) Task Force, the Bantwana Initiative of World Education co-hosted a webinar on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022 on promising community-based MHPSS models for children and adolescents living with HIV and other vulnerabilities.

Grounded in evidence, this webinar features three approaches demonstrating the challenges and possibilities associated with delivering MHPSS services in community-based settings.
