Providing Education to Children in Poor Rural Communities in Brong Ahafo, Ghana

As a sub-partner to Crown Agents, Ltd. on DFID-funded Complementary Basic Education Programme in Ghana, World Education is continuing its fifth year of implementation in Tolon District. In this final cohort, World Education is working with 800 out-of-school children adding to the over 14,000 out-of-school children already reached in Brong Ahafo and Northern Regions that have already received literacy and numeracy support.

World Education works closely with the regional and district authorities as well as community leaders and CBE parents to facilitate the successful transition of the enrolled complementary basic education students into the formal education system.
