This documents highlights Literacy Partners, a community-based organization in New York City that works to strengthen families through a two-generation approach to education. Designed to provide parents and caregivers with the tools they need to create success for themselves and a better future for the children in their care, Literacy Partners’ programs strive to break the cycle of poverty, improve job prospects, and close the achievement gap for children before they begin school.

This case study features Literacy Partners remote ESOL program design during COVID and student onboarding and persistence supports. It also highlights teachers' approaches, digital learning and supports for children's basic needs, among others, while also providing indicators for effectiveness.
